There is nothing like getting creative with your Holiday decorating. My sweet friend Valerie recently made a ruffled tree skirt and I asked her to share her lovely DIY with all of you.

Instructions:
Material used:
2 yards of burlap
2 yards of red fabric
Old tree skirt. (I used the other side of our tree skirt.)
Scissors
Hot glue gun
No fray glue
Cut both fabrics into 2.5" strips. Start at the outer skirt and work your way up toward the middle. Use glue gun around and fold fabric into ruffle while securing it down until the glue dries. Keep doing it until you reach the middle the inner part of the tree skirt. It's not to too hard, just time consuming and a bit messy.
When the skirt is done, use no fray glue around the edges of the fabric
especially the burlap.
