Lately I have been taking the time to just stop and breath in the moment. This year has been full of amazing things, and I have been trying to just keep up and let God lead. The other day as I was talking to a friend the subject of being still and knowing your limitations came up. I feel like being able to identify what you are suppose to be doing and letting God guide you through helps you to know your limits in everything you do. Knowing your limits is a big part of everyday life and give us a path to the next steps.
As a mom, wife and business woman, I am guilty of trying to juggle to much at once in my life. As women, we want to get things done the way we want it done and when we want it done and at the same time we want to be able to reach out and help everyone around us. For me knowing that God is directing my path, I had to also recognize what he wants me to be doing on a daily. Just because we feel the need to jump in and take on, doesn't mean that's right for us. We have to know our limitations, so that we are not overwhelmed in unhappy on this life journey.
It's OK to set limitations, it's OK to say no, and to be able to identify the things that are stretching you to no end. "Knowing your limitations allows you to focus, remain faithful, be still in the moment, breath in those happy thoughts, remain in God's will on a daily, and brings on creativity."
