Coffee & Words:: Waiting With Patience

Patience is definitely a virtue...... Lately I have been learning to practice patience more and more, not just patience with my boys(which is always needed), but patience in all things in my life. Learning to let go of the things that I can't control and finding peace in my waiting.  I find myself getting a little anxious with our new house being built, and I have to be reminded that it's God's doing and waiting on him to order each step of the wonderful process.  As I work from a small apartment, I am learning to embrace every moment.

Romans 8:25 it says; But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure.  This scripture is so fitting for this time of my life. While waiting I am constantly reminded to put my faith to work and putting my faith to work means, being still in my patience, not getting ahead of myself and not getting ahead of God.

Are you practicing patience in your faith walk?

I love this from T.D. Jake's...
"Timing is so important! If you are going to be successful in dance, you must be able to respond to rhythm and timing. It’s the same in the Spirit. People who don’t understand God’s timing can become spiritually spastic, trying to make the right things happen at the wrong time. They don’t get His rhythm – and everyone can tell they are out of step. They birth things prematurely, threatening the very lives of their God-given dreams.”
