This week I had moments of, "God am I doing enough for you?"
Lately, I have been really gathering my thoughts and ideas for the She Inspires Brunch workshop coming up on August 29th, and the conference for next year. I have also been thinking about ideas for some upcoming styled shoots and my rebrand for Inspired Events and Designs. With that comes all kinds of creative ideas rolling through my head all at once, and the most important for me is "God am I doing enough for you?"
I have walked away from things that I know I was pushing to hold onto and didn't really belong in my life. In doing so I have gained such a sense of fulfillment and peace in my home, my relationships, and in my faith walk. Now I am at the point in my faith walk that I just want to press forward without looking back and do all the things that God is asking me to do. In that pressing forward comes a little bit of wandering into that thing called "doubt". Some of you may be experiencing that today.
As I really reflect over the last couple of days, I start to think back to February at the She Inspires Experience conference, living in my obedience and sharing it with 130+ women of all walks of life. I can't help but think about all the blessings that were poured out to so many women through Faith and not Fear, through not letting the doubt interfere with God's vision, through truly setting who and what I thought I was suppose to be doing to the side and really focusing on what God put before me to do.
Last week this scripture came to me out of Psalm 143:8, "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life."
The wandering of doubt fades away with opening your heart fully to what God puts in you to do and completely trusting in him.
