Some-days it's about being reminded of how far you've come, and the growth that follows. That reminder becomes all the motivation you need to keep pushing forward and dreaming that much bigger.
These last couple of days I have really been reflecting on a few things that God has revealed to me throughout the year, and I have grown to appreciate life lessons that much more. In the busy of life comes learning experiences, frequent u turns, doubt, and test of your faith, but one thing that remains constant is God's faithfulness to us.
I was recently having a deep discussion with one of my spiritual sisters about how God shows us exactly what he wants us to do and he reveals each step to us. In the process he wants us to humble ourselves to him and be quiet. In James 4:10 it reads; Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. This verse truly has been speaking to me these last couple of months. I even put it on a chalkboard in my home. It's so nice to constantly be reminded of his faithfulness to us, and to humble yourself on a daily, which brings a level of peace and happiness to all aspects of your life.
As a busy mom, I sometimes find myself wrapped up with my kids, with my business, and constantly on the go. Being reminded to be humble makes things so much more bearable. "In the busy of life God wants us to sit before him and humble ourselves, even in the chaos. With that comes an overwhelming peace."
