I recently had the privilege of working with a lovely client on her new home in Austin. She was definitley no stranger, I met the lovely Liz a couple of years back through a mutual friend. When I met up with Liz at her home for her styling consultation, I knew right then that we would have fun with this project and I couldn't wait to get started!! The excitement she had for her new home and wanting to make it stylish, made me giddy and anxious to get started. We picked paint colors right away and were ready to dive right in with painters!
Liz wanted a home that was modern, feminine with accents of purple throughout. She also knew that grey/neutral tones were a must. So I pulled out my favorite shade of grays for her to choose from and she went with the Sherwin-Williams-Repose Gray(which you can't go wrong). My clients love this shade of gray just as much as I do, and it's always the first pick. Liz's home truly respresents her personality and style; with all the modern touches, soft tones, and feminine flare, it's one of those spaces you walk into and want to sit with a glass of wine and chat it up. I truly loved the use of pattern and textures that we added through details, along with all the mirrored glass and silver accents. I can't wait to work on her office space in 2014!
