An Evening With Amy Atlas

Amy Atlas was in Austin last week on her Williams-Sonoma book tour.  When I found out she was making her way to central Texas I was so excited. She has been a huge inspiration of mine for some time now (check out this post Here). 

It felt so good to sit with a group of women and hear her speak so passionately about what she does and her love for design. Oh, and did I mention she is a gem of a person, really sweet and such a big personality.  I would love to sit with her over wine or coffee and chat more, she was just that amazing! 

In Review: Sweet Designs by Amy Atlas

I received the Sweet Designs by Amy Atlas book for mother's day from my sweet husband and I finally had the chance to dive in the other night and when I tell you the inspiration over flows off the pages.

After browsing page by page I came to the conclusion that creativity is all about adding that unexpected touch of something, no matter what you are creating. Not to mention it left me wanting to do a little baking.  If you haven't ordered the book you should. You can order on amazon for a great price right now.

 

Have A {Sweet} Weekend
