Eleven Wonderful Years

 

Happy Friday!! I can't believe tomorrow marks eleven years of marriage with this man, and fifteen years together has approached us so quickly. I feel so blessed to call Matt my husband (my boo, my love, my sweetie) he truly is my best friend and such a wonderful father to our two boys. Every moment that I spend with him is a blessing! I thought I would share just a few things that I love about this man.

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY MAN
He cooks for me (thank God because my cooking skills, well... I have none)
He brings me flowers from the grocery store, just because
He picks up bags of Gummy Bears for me when we get ready to travel
He tells me I look pretty all the time, even when I think I look a HOT mess
He loves when I wear heels
He makes me old fashioned popcorn with lots of  butter
He keeps me laughing with his corny jokes
He says I love you, every time before hanging up the phone
He prays with me on a daily
He truly adores our boys
He supports me with my business and over the top thinking
He keeps me calm when things aren't going the way I planned
He makes me the best coffee
He wants me to have the best of everything
He's pretty darn handsome
His beautiful blue/grey eyes make me smile.
His love for God, brings joy to my heart!
He makes me laugh, even when he makes me mad!

Of course my list goes on and on, but I'll stop here!

It brings me so much joy on a daily to wake up knowing he is doing life with me and that God brought us together to hold hands during this journey of life. I must say it has been a wonderful journey this far and I look forward to the amazing journey that lies ahead. Tomorrow we will be taking a road trip to the Hill Country for a mini getaway, to take in the scenery and visit a couple of our favorite vineyards. What are your weekend plans?

Memphis Tennessee

I was hoping to post a few snapshots from our 10 year anniversary road trip to Memphis earlier in the week, but didn't get around to it. So I thought I would end the week with a little recap. The hubby and I  have decided to take a road trip at least once a year out of  Texas. Last year it was New Orleans and this year we decided to head to Tennessee. We were in Memphis for a couple of days, our trip was full of yummy food, great music and beautiful Victorian homes..

 

 

 

 

 

Our Anniversary Shoot

I still can't believe the hubby and I will be celebrating our ten year anniversary at the end of July. Time sure does fly when you are having fun and making memories! 

A couple of weeks ago we had an anniversary shoot with the lovely C. Thompson Photography. We truly had a great time with this shoot even with the off and on rain. We didn't let it stop us.. Here's a few from our romantic anniversary shoot. Thanks Cheri!!

Dreaming In Black & White

As I started gathering my thoughts for my 10 year wedding anniversary celebration for next year. I seem to be having thoughts of black & white. It's just something about the classic black and white that makes me want to party!

Nice Surprise!

Yesterday one of my lovely friends dropped off a belated anniversary gift for the hubby & I.  I completley love surprises!  It brought tears to my eyes; was totally unexpected. What a nice little treat and it was YUMMY!  Not to mention it came in a Pink Box! I am so grateful for wonderful friends and I just had to share.(Got a run in this morning to work off last nights sugar).
