Vintage Desk Candy Display

I enjoy putting candy displays together for any occasion! This mini candy bar that I did for the La Fleur Vintage Spring Fling was a lot of fun.. Adding a little lace, ribbon and tags to simple mason jars add that perfect touch of vintage!

Thanks again to my beautiful friend and assistant Shalyn, owner of Shalyn Nelson Photography  for the lovely photos!

Crowne Plaza Candy Station

A few weeks back I had the opportunity to work with a couple of wonderful vendors at the Crowne Plaza Hotel photo shoot. I had a blast putting together a mini candy station for our pink and orange layout. Here's a few photos from the shoot, I will be sharing more soon!

Thanks Lily for the photos, I can't wait to see more!!

I Heart: Amy Atlas Dessert Buffets

Amy Atlas and all her sweetness is such an inspiration and I just adore her style and creativity. I was so excited when I received an email from Amy's team answering my question. I wanted to know what inspires Amy on a daily and how she comes up with her fabulous designs?

Amy said:

"Because of how customized each table is, my inspiration stems mainly from the couples themselves. When I meet with the couple the first thing I do is get a sense of what is most important to them. The design can be inspired from something as personal as a family heirloom to as simple as the bride and groom's pattern on their wedding invitation. I like for the dessert buffet to tell a story about the bride and the groom so that the dessert not only becomes functional for the event, but also becomes part of the event design."

Even if the table is not for a wedding, the client is still an inspiration. Children are a great source of ideas when doing Bar/Bat Mitzvahs! Designs can also be inspired from prints, patterns, colors, etc.

Thanks Amy for taking the time to share with my readers! I hope to some day experience one of your sweet designs in person!
