Rustic Mimosa Bar

Happy Friday!! I thought it would be fun to end the week with a refreshing mimosa bar.

You may be dreaming up a future brunch with the holidays right around the corner, or gathering ideas for a fun bridal shower.. I thought I would share details from a recent Mimosa bar that I created for my She Inspires Brunch a few weeks back..

What you need:

Cupcake Prosecco is one of my favorites from Target

Juices: Simply Orange, Cranberry & Peach/ Mango

Garnishes: Strawberries, Blackberries, Oranges (I also recommend raspberries, blueberries,)

Styling: Inspired Events and Designs

She Inspires Turns 2

When I started She Inspires two years ago with some wonderful help from creative friends, I didn't know what was going to happen with the this little space on the web.  I just felt so good about everything that God had put in my heart, and I knew good things would come.  She Inspires has since then, hosted our very first She Inspires Experience Creative Conference, planning our first She Inspires Workshop, building relationships with other creative women.  There is so much more to come!

After the conference in February I knew exactly what She Inspires was all about and this blog is just a small piece of the community that God wants me to continue to build.

Sunny Picnic with Glade

It's only normal for me to dream up easy ways to entertain with my family and friends at home this time of year, and keeping it simple is always a must.  So when I teamed up with Glade  to create a fun entertaining theme for their new and oh so yummy "Soak It In" Summer Swim scent, I had the perfect theme in mind. 

With the summer heat here in Texas, we are always looking for ways to escape. What better way to feel free then in your own backyard with a Sunny Backyard Picnic! There is no other feeling then entertaining at home, and the  "Soak It In" Summer Swim scent  is sure to bring that  feeling of freedom in your own home.

All it takes is a simple low coffee table or blanket, surrounded with pillows(preferably bright colors) to give you that cozy, relaxing summer feeling in your backyard. Fresh flowers are always a must have and of course pulling out mason jars, your go to white dishes and napkins and you have your self a picnic.  Turn up the music to your favorite summer play list(including the Summertime classic by Will Smith), some yummy sandwiches and don't forget your summer swim glade candle. You are all set for a sweet backyard picnic.
