DIY: Pastel/Glitter Easter Eggs

 

 

Forget the traditional egg dye and lets go with a acrylic paint & glitter for Easter eggs this year!!  You seriously can't go wrong  with adding a little gold glitter. Right?  

 

When I got this idea in my head, I just went for it and I must say I love the outcome. Girl, you know you want to add glitter to your Easter eggs!!

 

 

 

 

5 Easy Items

 

Eggs

Pastel Acrylic paint

Martha Stewart Glitter

Spray adhesive glue

Small Paint sponge or brush

 

How To:

Gather eggs

Spray half of the egg with Spray adhesive glue

Sprinkle glitter(then let dry)

Once dry brush on your pastel paint on the other half

(use the sponge for better coverage)

 

 

Easter Table

Spring makes me feel  giddy inside with the change in weather, the brighter colors, seeing fields of bluebonnets here in Texas, along with sandals, sundresses and being able to celebrate Easter with family.

 

Here at She Inspires we dig deep into the spring season with lots of fun projects and one thing that we get excited about is getting creative with color. Last week we came together for a mini Easter styled shoot. This Spring shoot was bursting with color.  The talented Rebecca got creative with bold blooms of vibrant pink garden roses, orange ranunculus, pinkish-violet tulips, with contrast of white fragrant freesia. The look from the yellow dubium cascading over the vase and the wildness of the ranunculus and freesia is what gives the wild-loose styled look to the arrangement. Pairing the bright arrangement with a soft yellow linen, white, and mint setting was just perfect!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG

My week got off to a busy start and my to do list keeps growing by the day. So many wonderful things happening and I can hardly contain myself. Working on gathering details for a bridal show on Sunday, launching my new/updated website and at the same time working on a complete blog overhaul! Not to mention I am getting ready to kick off wedding season, Easter weekend with my moms wedding! I'm so excited, I just can't hide it!
