Rustic Mimosa Bar

Happy Friday!! I thought it would be fun to end the week with a refreshing mimosa bar.

You may be dreaming up a future brunch with the holidays right around the corner, or gathering ideas for a fun bridal shower.. I thought I would share details from a recent Mimosa bar that I created for my She Inspires Brunch a few weeks back..

What you need:

Cupcake Prosecco is one of my favorites from Target

Juices: Simply Orange, Cranberry & Peach/ Mango

Garnishes: Strawberries, Blackberries, Oranges (I also recommend raspberries, blueberries,)

Fall Brunch Table

I don't know about you, but this time of year I get excited about entertaining with family and friends and enjoying the cooler weather. A few weeks ago we got a little creative for a fall Brunch shoot with the lovely Cheri of C.Thompson Photography. Literally packing a few goodies to a wooded park area was so worth it.  Can you tell we are in the mood for Fall entertaining!!

WOW! I can't believe it's June already! I am looking forward to some summer entertaining, water fun and of course fruity beverages. Here's a few summer entertaining goodies that are on my list.

What’s not to love about the dreamy kitchen? An oversize island offers plenty of prep space. A professional gas stove is ready for all kinds of yummy creations. There is also plenty of lighting so you’ll be sure to get your measurements just so.

This ultra small, but amazingly efficient kitchen caught my eye. Everything you need to whip up a feast is within feet of one another.

This bright and cheery kitchen would have us cooking up a large breakfast every morning. The natural light from the surrounding windows is so pleasant and the island pendant lights are so charming.

A farmhouse kitchen gets a modern touch with a contemporary island and stainless steel appliances. The dark apron sink is as functional as it is desirable.

Another bright white kitchen has us chomping at the bit to cook up something wonderful. The light from a wall of windows above the sink is especially nice.

This eat-in kitchen has plenty of space to visit with guests or family while you cook. The tile work is gorgeous!

An unusually shaped kitchen welcomes in the light from a wall of windows. An oversize island offers plenty of work space, which is lit by a fun and whimsical light fixture. Or is that two?

Another small kitchen caught our eye for its close proximately to every cooking supply and appliance a cook would need.

Sweet November

I don't know about you, but once November arrives I get a little excited about the Holidays.  The thought of gathering with family and friends to give thanks and celebrate another great year, brings me so much joy.  Along with the crisp cool air, the smell of apple cinnamon, scarves, boots and of course cooler Texas tempatures......
