Fall Brunch Table

I don't know about you, but this time of year I get excited about entertaining with family and friends and enjoying the cooler weather. A few weeks ago we got a little creative for a fall Brunch shoot with the lovely Cheri of C.Thompson Photography. Literally packing a few goodies to a wooded park area was so worth it.  Can you tell we are in the mood for Fall entertaining!!

Fall is definitely in the air on this October Monday. I am loving the cooler weather here in Texas these last couple of days.  Last week I had a Delicious Fall Brunch photo shoot and this little sneak peek was sent over by the lovely Cheri of C.Thompson Photography this morning.  I am looking forward to sharing more of this shoot soon!!

Have a Fabulous week!!

Living Inspired: Touch Of Fall

Waking up to some cooler weather for the last week, fall is in the air that's for sure.  It's time to add some new pieces to the wardrobe and home. These spaces have that perfect touch of fall.. Have you started bringing out your touches of fall?

Thanksgiving DIY: Fresh Herb & Flower/ Box Centerpiece

There is nothing like having fresh flowers and herbs in your Thanksgiving tablescape, but flowers can break the budget depending on what you are looking for.

For last weeks News segment we went with fresh herbs(rosemary & basil), garden flowers, and gourds for the Thanksgiving centerpiece.  The good thing about this arrangement is you can use a basket from your pantry or even a shoe box covered in kraft paper and you can always replant afterwards.  Such an easy way to have a stylish, but budget friendly centerpiece for your Thanksgiving gathering.

How to:
-Line box or basket with plastic or newspaper
-Place old books in the bottom to add height
-Place garden plants or flowers inside, placing them where you want them(we used mums, basil and rosemary  from local grocer each under $4.00)
-Fill in with  pumpkins, squash, or even apples to add color and texture
