Bedroom Project: Coral & Grey Teenage Room

For the last couple of weeks I have been working with a teenage girls room. Playing with ideas on colors and thinking of possible things to bring into her space to make it more mature, girly and of course functional(since she is going to high school).  After searching for the perfect color and showing her inspiration she decided on coral & grey..

Here's a little inspiration for the space! I'm excited to see how it all comes together, painting is in progress. She already has the night stand and dresser from IKEA in the dark brown so I am working around those items. Bringing in floral patterns a little texture and a hint of glam....

Girls Room Project: Pink Room Reveal

BEFORE  

 

Over the course of a month I worked on transforming a very dull girls room into a pink posh room.. It was such a fun process, and was done on a small budget. I had a blast working with my good friend on this project and I must say her 5 year old Fancy girl loves her new space.

AFTER

Added a new look to an existing dresser, by spray painting the knobs.

An upholstered headboard with a fun paisley and floral fabric set the tone for the room. See Headboard Here

Added a vintage chair and patterned pillows

Lanterns were hung in one corner of the room for a cozy reading area.

Along with hand painted flowers.

A DIY bench was setup with bins for books & toys

A contrasting fabric was added to white curtains to add a little drama.

Project: Fancy Girl Room Continues

We are finalizing all the little details in the Fancy girl room.  Hoping to have it completed soon!  Here's a couple of details from my iPhone..

There has been a complete change in design plans for the Fancy Girl Room.  My friend and wonderful client stumbled upon a fabric that she had in her closet and we thought it would be a perfect start to the fancy room.

Fancy Girls Room

Over the next couple of weeks, I will be styling one of my friends daughter's room, I am anxious to get started.  The words  for the room are  Pink, Purple, & Fancy, words of a five year old girl! Gotta love it!   I will take you along with me through the process and post before & after photos along with the budget of the space.
