Since we had our first cold front this week in Austin, all I can think about is baking. I love to bake this time of the year. I don't consider myself a Martha Stewart in the kitchen, so I keep it pretty simple and stick to the simple recipes. One of my favorites is "7 layer bars". I make them this time of the year every year up until Christmas.
What's one of your favorite recipes this time of the year? Or what's one goodie you have to serve while entertaining in the cooler months.
