12 Years of Marriage

Happy Friday!! This post has me smiling from ear to ear... Anytime, I get the chance to talk about my marriage, it makes me feel a certain way (a little giddy inside).  This weekend marks twelve years of marriage with my love, my best friend, an amazing dad, and most importantly man of God.  I feel so blessed to be doing life with this man and each day is an adventure. God brought us together to grow, to be an example of his love, to lift each other up, and support one another on this journey.
Marriage is not always easy, but the imperfections within, come with love, friendship and a Godly foundation. I am looking forward to many, many more wonderful years with this man!

So in celebrating, this weekend we are off to do some of our favorite things together; tour a few of our favorite Hill Country vineyards, and indulge in yummy food.

  Happy Anniversary my love!

It's Our Anniversary!

9 years ago today, I married my best friend!  He keeps me balanced, makes me laugh, and supports me in everything I do; even if it's a little extreme at times. Not to mention he's a very intelligent person. He is definitely my soul mate and I thank God everyday for giving me my prince charming....

Happy Anniversary Matt!

It's My Anniversary!!

Happy Monday!

As you read this I am enjoying my little getaway in the Hill Country with my wonderful husband, celebrating seven years. My posting will be a little scarce this week, but one of my lovely friends and Bride to be Vivian, will be sharing a fabulous find with you tomorrow.

I leave you a beautiful quote to start off your week!

One must not lose desires. They are mighty stimulants to creativeness,to love , and to long life.

I'm off to a few wine tastings and to take in the scenery!!

Celebrating 7: What We Love....

Well today is Part 3 of Celebrating our 7 year anniversary, it has been a lot of fun sharing with my readers what we love and how we keep the sparks going in our marriage.

We truly love to travel, the hubby prefers to drive, but put me on a plane and I'm good to go. We haven't been able to travel like we would like in the last 2 yrs, but we truly like to explore new places and take in all the architecture and design details along the way. It's so nice to be able to visit a city and not know what to expect when you get there, of course I'm the planner and the hubby just likes to go with it and be spontaneous. One of our favorite places that we have visited is San Fransisco, we really enjoyed the weather, scenery, as well as the architecture detail of the buildings there, not to mention theirs so much to do. We have a lot of places on our list of travel, but this weekend we will be taking a mini vacay to the Hill Country to a bed & breakfast to Celebrate 7.

I hope you have enjoyed my little walk through what we love in our marriage and I hope you have things in your marriage that keep the sparks going as well.

Where is your favorite place to travel with your spouse?
