Joys of the Season

As I finish my last minute shopping and wrapping, I realize how much this time of year truly means to me and why I love the holidays so much. Being able to celebrate the birth of Jesus with family and friends, the smell of gingerbread and cinnamon in the air, the lights throughout the night, making new traditions and sharing old ones with my family, baking, and looking back at the wonderful year and getting ready for the year ahead. Just enjoying the joy that the holiday season brings....

Favorites: Weekend Look Back

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!  Mine was one full of holiday cheer; family Christmas night fun and a fabulous annual Christmas party with my girlfriends. The weekend was definitely one that I didn't want to end.

Making Spirits Bright...

As I work on my holiday cards today, I am reminded of how much joy the holidays bring.  The smell of apple cinnamon & cookies, the crisp cool air, the extra sparkle all around, Christmas music playing softly, family traditions, cozing up by the fire(depending on this TX weather), celebrating with family & friends, and all the other things to love that make your spirits bright.  My boys definitely brighten my spirits..
