Style At Home:: Closets Organized Neatly

Today we bring our first ever Style At Home series from the lovely Stephanie. This series will be full of ways to bring a little style and organization to your home.

Living in small rentals has definitely taught me the value of organized spaces. Take the bathroom for example. Between hair and makeup quite a lot of time and product (and tools!) end up in front of the mirror. So it's nice to maximize that space, you know? When I first saw my linen closet I admit I was ready to tear out the ventilated wired shelves...but I saw potential for making it feel organized and neat with a few small touches. The water hyacinth bins hide my towels, linens, and haircare tools. I find this is an easy solution to make exposed shelving feel uniform. The metal harvest basket has a rustic quality about it and is a fun alternative for storing toilet paper. For a little added interest, I rolled a few towels and added glass canisters to hold bath salts and cotton swabs.

I find when there is some sense of order my days feel more productive and just plain happier! Thanks for letting me share this bit of organization with you. -Stephanie

Living Inspired: BIG. BOLD. PATTERN

For the last couple of weeks I have been working with some brighter colors for one of my clients new home add on. I must say I truly enjoy being able to build a room with Bold colors and BIG patterns, especially when a client is not afraid to let us bring on the color in all the right places. I can't wait to share my clients space when it's all done.

These spaces have the perfect touch of bold pattens and  pops of color! Are you afraid to go big & bold? I tend to like color in moderation in my own home. What about you?
