Most teas(especially green tea) are full of antioxidants that slow down aging, protect you from
heart disease and cancer while promoting skin and bone health. Avoid iced teas that contain
artificial flavorings and high fructose corn syrup. It is also a great way to stay hydrated.
1. Spice Up Your Water
We all know that we should drink water to stay hydrated, especially during the summer, but
many people find it difficult to drink enough water. Clients tell me that water doesn’t taste
good or that it’s bland. The solution to this problem is to spice up your water by adding fruits or herbs to give it a little bit of flavor without the added calories.

3. Cold vegetable soup
The heat is beating down on you and you still haven’t decided what to make for dinner. You don’t want to cook because that will heat up the house but you want something simple that everyone (even the kids) will eat. Well fear not, cold soups are a great option. You can use fruits or vegetables (full of nutrients) and minimal to no cooking is required.

It’s that time again. Summer time. The kids are out of school and you want
quick healthy snacks that they can munch on as your transport them from their
soccer game to the pool. Fear not there are many simple but healthy snacks you
(and your kids) can make. Quick health snacks that will keep the kids hydrated
include frozen grapes, strawberries and fruit Popsicles. These snacks are a hit
