Celebrate Fall!!!

As we welcomed Fall over the weekend with some cooler weather,  we decided to revisit this Autumn table scape, from last years collaboration. We are still loving this table and it definitely has us ready for some Fall entertaining!

She's A "Jewell" Party

Girlfriends are like precious jewels. Each one has their own unique qualities and that is what makes each girlfriend so precious and rare. I was needing to de-compress, I needed some good quality time spent with my "precious gems." So, I naturally did what any girl would do. I called my girlfriends over for some wine, cheese, and Jewell Handbag shopping. A girl can never have too many bags, right???   Guaranteed to be a good time with lots of belly laughs and some old-fashioned girlfriend therapy. Friday night was kicked off in style as my beautiful girlfriends arrived one by one in their lovely dresses ready to have a good time.

Recap:: Summer Lovin' Workshop

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend full of beautiful things!

Let's start the week off with a little recap from my Summer Lovin' Workshop at World Interiors. The workshop offered a fun morning of mimosa's, tablescape and color ideas. It was such a blast! Any time I get to talk about my love for decor, color and design makes me so happy!  I really appreciate Cheri with C Thompson Photography for capturing all the details of the event.  

 The first table is the Summer Crush table, the inspiration behind this table I shared HERE. I really wanted to show how you can combine colors in a creative way when entertaining at home. The use of a colorful fabric and oranges, along with vintage glasses, brought this table to life.  This would be perfect for a bridal shower brunch.



I love this action shot! I'm in my ZONE, as I share this table and all the little details!!

 

My favorite table has to be the Summer Alfresco table!  This table was inspired   by natural elements, the use of succulents and rosemary lined the table in terracotta pots that were accented with gold. The natural wood table and wood detailed chandelier really set the tone for this table setting.

 

I had to throw in a simple picnic table..... Here's a few details!!  





Succulents to GO!! We even set up a succulents table for guest to take mini pots on the go!!

Color Me Crazy:: Summer Crush

 

This weekend I will be hosting a Summer Lovin' Design Workshop at World Interiors  and this is one of the inspiration boards coming to life.  The summer crush tablescape will be bursting with orange, pink and blue shades. I'm loving it!

Oh Boy! Baby Shower

Last year I met sweet Amy at church for the first time and we instantly became friends. Planning play dates with our boys have become one of our favorites and of course the girl chat that comes with it.  When Amy told me she was expecting another baby boy, I was led to throw her a baby shower.  Baby showers are one of my favorites and I love the intimate feel  and the joy that it brings in welcoming a new life!  

 

 My heart was so full of joy to  see my friend Amy's face when she arrived. As I look through some of these snapshots I am reminded of how God allows us to be a blessing to everyone around us, no matter how big are small the gesture. When it comes from the heart, you are filled with overflowing joy.
