NYCIA'S BRIGHT HOME OFFICE

Finally getting around to sharing my creative space that I call my office.

Working from home can be hard some days, and for me, escaping to my little bright space in my home allows me to tap into my creative side a little bit better.

Bringing in a bright colored rug and a fun wallpaper would definitely get my creative juices flowing and allow me to be more productive. Monday’s are normally my hardest days, and it’s nice to have a space to go to, even if it’s in my PJ’s.

I had a custom desk made for my space. I wanted wood with a little metal detail to keep it modern and light. The chandelier is from Wayfair, one of my favorite go to places for easy online shopping and great prices.

The wall paper is from Jillian Harris partnership with MK Wallpaper, and the rug is from RUG USA.

For me finding inspiration is a big deal on a daily.. So it was fitting from me to add a large inspiration board, full of words, photos and travel. I am constantly inspired while sitting in my space and my board is constantly changing.

How I Like To Work with WeWork

Since I am currently in the middle of bringing my design ideas together for my new home office, and I gather inspiration and details come to me, I keep having flash backs of my old space. I loved my little space in my previous home. I would like to take you back to my space with lots of  light flowing in, along with pops of color throughout.

For me it is important to have an office that is functional, yet beautiful and not so serious.  Being inspired in your workspace on a daily, can definitely increase productivity and allow your creative juices to flow that much more. I am also obsessed with a splash of color, along with my coffee bar and inspiration board, so those are a must in my workspace at all times.

I am somewhat a neat freak! I find that when things are out of place for me in my office,  I can’t focus the way I would like to. If my surrounding is cluttered, my creativity also becomes cluttered, and since my office is in  my home, this allows me to create a zone for things that don't belong. 

 Another must have in my workspace is a coffee bar. I love my coffee and working with a stocked coffee bar  is always a plus.. Especially on a MONDAY!! 

 Having a workspace that allows for productivity in the environment is such a positive thing.
