Feeling Crafty

Happy Friday!!

It has been a week of crafting and more crafting; along with meetings and mommy overload, with the hubby away on business.  As I'm getting ready for the Austin Wedding Party event this weekend, I am so anxious to see it all come together. Here's a couple of things I'm finishing up...

Kids Valentine's Day Table

Lets start this love filled week off with a cute kids table from Samantha Cabrera.  If you are a mom like myself you can appreciate getting creative with the kids for Valentine's DAY and having a little fun. I am still loving this adorable tablescape and had to pull it out of my archives.  Might just be worth recreating for your kiddos!

DIY: "I Heart You" Valentines

I created these simple little heart goodies and when I say simple, I mean "easy peezy lemon squeezy"(in the words of my 6 yr old).  Using felt hearts, nestle heart crunch, a hole punch, double sided tape, and tags with "I ♥ You" Valentine. Place them in an envelope and off they go..

Holiday Inspiration: Kids Table

A good way to get the kids interested in sitting for Christmas dinner is setting a cute table just for them. At last weeks holiday table event, I included a kids table demonstration. So much fun!

How to: Placing Kraft paper as a table cover, draping with red and white paper garland and you have yourself a cute little table. Including a cluster of buckets or jars with christmas cookie cutters(for tracing), candy canes and marshmallows for smores make for great centerpieces. Along with candy filled ornaments as part of the place setting..
