My Home: Dining Room Photo Shoot

A few weeks back I had the opportunity to play a little bit in my dining room for a fun photo shoot with the lovely Kendra Michelle Photography.

Dressing up my farm table is always exciting for me, especially with a little black and white striped detail and a simple floral centerpiece with added greenery from my backyard. With this shoot I really wanted to highlight my lovely Farrow & Ball wallpaper from Wallpaper Direct.  When I decided to add this accent wallpaper to my dining room, I was holding my breath, because I wasn't sure if it was going to be to much for the space. After my husband installed it, I instantly fell in love!! Just enough "WOW" for the space!!

Don't be afraid to add that unexpected element to your home, you might just love it!!

The thought of changing up my dining room has crossed my mind a couple of times recently, and I always have these thoughts the closer it gets to the Holiday season.  These dining spaces are simply to die for, from the lighting to the details and colors. Dining Perfect!!

Living Inspired: Mix n Match Chairs

There is just something I love about mix match chairs when paired with a perfectly designed dining space. Adding character along with those unexpected elements of color is just so designtastic(I just made up a new word).  I am swooning over the mix n match of chairs in these spaces.

Monday In "Pink"

Since it is my birthday week(August the 20th is the day)  I thought it would be nice to post a couple of  things I love this week. So lets start off with a little "PINK!"  My love for pink just won't ever go away.  Keep in mind I do have two boys, so I have to see blue on a daily, especially since my oldest son is a little obsessed with blue right now, and of course  the "girlieness"(is that even a word?) in me just won't let it go away.  Especially if  the pink comes with a pretty room!

And I can't live without flowers and I'll take them in every shade of Pink
