Happy Monday + Snapshot Faves

Happy Monday Y'all!!!

I am trying to get back in the swing of things this morning! This past week has been one full of fun and a little work! I was so happy to be able to have a mini getaway with my boys for spring break and also enjoy some down time with the hubby. I really didn't want it to end! Here's a few of  my favorite snapshots from the week!!

This lighthouse inspired me, with th color the shapes and over course being surrounded by palm trees..

 

This view reminded me of God's beautiful creations all over. I am so grateful to beable to live in the moment and share wonderful times like this with my family!

 

 

 

Memphis Tennessee

I was hoping to post a few snapshots from our 10 year anniversary road trip to Memphis earlier in the week, but didn't get around to it. So I thought I would end the week with a little recap. The hubby and I  have decided to take a road trip at least once a year out of  Texas. Last year it was New Orleans and this year we decided to head to Tennessee. We were in Memphis for a couple of days, our trip was full of yummy food, great music and beautiful Victorian homes..

 

 

 

 

 

NOLA: Magazine Street + Perch Home

Last things first.......The last day of my vacation in New Orleans, I was lucky enough to get in a stroll down Magazine street. It felt like a piece of magazine heaven! Although I didn't get to pop in to all the cute little shops, I had on the top of my list to pay Perch Home a visit and I did just that. Perch Home is the fabulous shop of designer Caroline Roberts who was recently featured in the May/June issue of  Lonny magazine. I was completely inspired by all the goodies surrounding me in this cute little shop.

                               Being greeted by fabulous chandeliers, sucked me right in....

This mirror and chandelier were some of my favorite pieces.

They were screaming my name.

I wanted to take this yellow stool home with me.....

I didn't want to leave the store!! I'm sure you can see why!

Wrapping up Vacation

It has been a week of road trips and fun adventure with my family, which started last Friday with a mini stay on the coast, then a few days in NOLA. I will share some of my adventure with you next week when I return. Until then I will be soaking up these last couple of days of vacation.

Summer Serenity

With vacation starting tomorrow, I'm having thoughts of the beach, light and airy spaces with lots of whites and flowy fabrics. I'll be heading to the beach for a couple of days then off to New Orleans for some yummy food, music and fun with the family..

These spaces make you want to curl up with a refreshing beverage in hand.
