Style It Up:: Bike & Plaid

With todays Style it Up, contributor Sabrina is putting the FUN in FUNctional!

In order to feel good in what I'm wearing, my outfit has to work for what I'm doing! Riding my bike is one of my favorite activities in the summer time, so my fashion has to line up with that!

My plaid shirt lends a fun country vibe. By tying it at the waist and rolling up the sleeves, I add a little shape to the loose ends. The denim shorts are a summer-time staple! The lighter color and a little destruction keeps this outfit casual. And the peep toed shoes? Well, it's summertime and showing off your bright pedi is a MUST!

Outfit inspiration, for me, doesn't always come from an item of clothing. I get inspired by so many different things! A hairstyle, an activity or even how many cups of coffee I've had (I'm not sure I should show you those outfits!) I encourage you to try something new with your style, find inspiration in something new!

What To Wear:: ALT NYC

In a few days,  I will be flying out to the Big Apple for the Alt Summit! I have been wanting to attend ALT for the last couple of years and can't believe I am actually going.  I am so excited I just can't hide it!!!;)  Are you feeling my excitement?? Seriously, I am giddy, anxious and a little nervous, simply because I have never been to the Big Apple.

I have to admit I am also needing a little style help, as I try to figure out what I am wearing to the one day conference.  For me my outfit for the day has to be on point and easy to transform from day to evening.  I was thinking if I could gather my thoughts through a couple of style boards maybe my lovely fashionista readers could help me with my look for the all day conference. Which will make this weekends shopping trip so much easier.

I am carrying a  mustard tote along, hints the reason the bag is included in every look.  Let me know what look you are liking. Also let me know if you have any suggestions for shops to visit while I'm there.
