Yesterday I posted these words on Instagram, "When In Doubt Pray". Over the years I have learned that prayer is more than just asking God for something, its more than just kneeling for guidance, but it's a way of life.
Prayer keeps me grounded in so many ways. Prayer allows me to focus, keeps me in peace, brings me joy, helps me to alleviate the doubt that tries to creep in from time to time and truly allows me to connect with God on a more intimate level and seriously listen to him as he speaks. Prayer is not about saying the right things, it's about praying from the heart and truly letting his presence be known.
Matthew 26:41 reads "Keep alert and pray. Otherwise temptation will overpower you. For though the spirit is willing enough, the body is weak!" The power of prayer is amazing and some days I find myself just praying to God in the shower or car and that's when I am the most connected to him. Do you pray on a daily? Where do you feel the most connected in prayer?
