She Inspires Experience

As we dig deep into planning for the next She Inspires Experience, we are really taking in all that God is revealing to us and all that he is preparing us for. We are praying for four hours full of laughter, yummy food and lots of real talk about God, along with a little worship.

I am so excited!! God has so much in store for everyone that attends!

She Inspires Brunch At Lone Oak Barn

Where do I start with this post. I am still in AWE of the amazing time I had with 23 lovely women on August 29th, as we gathered in the beautiful Lone Oak Barn for the first She Inspires Brunch Workshop.

We kicked off the morning with, "Who is She to you?" The ladies all had a different word to describe who She is to them, and it really made me realize "SHE" comes with all kinds of titles and only God knows what title is best for us and our purpose.. We just have to Be Present right where he has us.

The morning was full of yummy waffles & omelets made to order by Chef Mike with Amuse.  We also included three lovely speakers and lots of discussion about dreams, and seeking our purpose.

Thanks to Lori Schneider of The Cupcake Bar for sharing your love for your business and awesome branding tips.  Thanks to Shalyn Nelson with Love The Nelson's for sharing a little deeper into your life and your faith walk, and a big Thanks to Blessing Anyatonwu with Earnest Holistic Health for sharing health tips and scripture to keep us energized.

We also had a group discussion about our dreams and fears and being Present right where God has us.. We ended the day with letting go of fears with pink balloons, some amazing giveaways and a succulent bar.  I am so excited to see where God is taking each one of these ladies on there journey of faith and purpose.

She Inspires Experience Part 1

I've been holding off on this post for to long. I am so overjoyed with content and happiness, to be sharing this post with you, and the timing couldn't be any more perfect, since I am relaxing with my little family for Spring break. There's nothing like a little down time, to just relax and be still and embrace those precious moments of life., and for me I have truly been reflecting on what's next for She Inspires Experience.

A couple of weeks back, I had the chance to experience the first She Inspires Experience. The vision that God put in my heart a few short months ago came to life and it was more then I ever imagined. God's presence filled the The Bridge Community Church and I soaked it all up, and it was amazing. Although the weather was icy and cold, God allowed something amazing to happen on Feb. 27th & 28th. Seeing that obedience and faith walk come to life through a 100+ women, filled my heart with so much joy.  The speakers, the worship, the amazing sponsors and all the lovely women that attended, even with the crazy weather. I was blown away and I am still replaying it all in my head. GOD IS SO GOOD!!

"Being obedient to God doesn't mean you don't have doubt, it just means you walk in faith knowing he is in control."

The Show was kicked off on Friday night by Shametra McGregor and the worship and the runway show, were amazing!!    Runway was hosted by The Created Woman Foundation, founded by the lovely Heather Frierson, which made for the perfect kickoff party. Thanks to Aysa Province for styling & coordinating the Runway.

The Bridge Community Church Worship team brought on the worship, and I didn't want it to end. We also had the talented Crestal Williamson Photography capturing smiles at the photo booth,  and the  smores station was a hit!

Full Heart

So I sit for a few hours wondering how I should start this post. Then it finally dawned on me that it's not like any other post that I have published on this blog, but a post that is really close to my heart and the words would come.. Not saying all of my previous post aren't from my heart, but this post is just a little different and brings out a certain emotion, an emotion of obedience and faith.

I'll start out by saying obedience to God is such a great feeling! A few short months ago, I wasn't so sure what would come of this little space on the web called She Inspires. I wasn't even sure what possessed me to take the time to start this little space in 2013, but what I did know was God had something to do with it, so in back of my head I knew he would make it clear to me when it was time. I knew that what was dreamed of back in 2011, as I woke up from my sleep with excitement, would eventually become something, and God would soon prepare me for whatever that something was really soon. For me, I knew he would reveal something to me, even if it came four short years later.

So now that I know what She Inspires is and what God is growing this space into, my heart is just overflowing with all the blessings that will soon flow off the pages of this site that much more and next weekend what just a small piece to the amazing journey of obedience.. The journey that has led me to meet some amazing women of faith, the journey that had made me more aware of my surrounding and blessings, the journey that has allowed my heart to overflow with joy, the journey that has brought on a little bit of doubt at times, the journey that has also made me realize that God is so faithful that much more, the journey that has truly made me love my family & friends so much more, the journey that pushes me to seek more of Jesus, the journey that has stretched me to the core and it feels oh so good.. The journey of the bigger part of She Inspires and how this small blog that is much more than just a blog, but a journey of faith with endless stories.

When you seek more of God and pray for him to make you better and allow us to shine for his glory, you just don't know where that takes you. I do know one thing, if you let him take you there, he will rock your world and bring you a whole new LOVE for life..

She Inspires is filling my heart with so many wonderful amazing and faith filled beginnings, and I can't wait to see what's in store. As I count down the next few days until the first She Inspires Experience conference held at The Bridge Community Church.  I am so excited to see what God has prepared for us!!!

Deuteronomy 28 1-2

"And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God."

The Vision: She Inspires Experience

Do you ever, sit still in a moment and just let God really speak to you? I mean in the stillness, where you can seriously listen to him.  I get so excited in those moments, and I even wish at times I could sit & have Coffee with God sitting across the table from me, where I can put a face with that oh so still voice.  I am sharing this because, I crave more of him each day & I enjoy hearing God speak to me and letting me know what he wants of me.( I sometimes even ask the question, you want little old me to do what?)

I pray daily for God to make me a better vessel for his glory and when I pray that I know that may steps are ordered by him, and that it's no longer my doing, nor is it in my control.  So a few years back when I woke up out of my sleep because God had placed She Inspires in my heart, I seriously had no clue what he wanted me to do & just last year I was led to start this blog She Inspires. A place to allow women to come and be inspired by all things lovely & whatever God puts on my little heart to share. I knew She Inspires would be more then just a blog, but wasn't sure what, until a few weeks ago.  As I sat in church listening to my preacher speak about letting God take you to that next level, I was suddenly distracted by "She" and that wasn't all, God was showing me She Inspires would be a conference right at my church & it's almost like I could picture all the women sitting there connecting and letting go of every fear that is holding them back.  The excitement that covered my body in that moment, I just couldn't  shake.  I text my friend Michelle,  who is also my pastors wife, to say I need to meet with you soon, God has put a conference in my heart & I have to be obedient. With that being said,  I knew from that moment there would be no turning back.

I have learned when God speaks you listen & even if you don't know how, what and who is going to be involved you just go forward and let faith carry you.  She Inspires Experience is now in the works Feb 27th- 28th 2015, God will bring a couple of 100 women together to experience his presence through a creative conference. This creative conference driven by God, will allow women of all walks of life  to be inspired, encouraged and to seek their calling, by walking in faith. We will connect through creative concepts, speakers and yummy food!! God is going to do some amazing things! She lives, She loves, She creates, She is led by God.
